Embroidery Coverage
Embroidery coverage refers to the percentage of the embroidery thread covering in the whole patch.
50% Embroidery
White part is the bare twill background, the other colors are embroidery thread. It is only about 50% of the whole patch.
75% Embroidery
The sky blue is bare twill, and embroidery details is about 75% of whole twill base.
100% Embroidery
You can’t see the twill base at all, the whole background is covered with embroidery thread all over.
Border Styles
Overlocked border, heat cut border and laser cut border are the three options.
Overlocked Border
For patches with regular shape, we normally overlock the border to make it clean and tight.
hot cut border
For patches with irregular shape or regular shape, you can choose heat cut border. The border is with satin stitches
laser cut border
If there is a bare twill or felt border around, we have to laser cut the border.
Backing Styles
It depends on how you will apply the patches to garment, hat and so on. There are usually four backing options: sew on, iron on, velcro hook&loop, stick on.
sew on backing
we will put paper backing or nothing on back. sew on is cheapest and with best durability. DST sewing file can be offered freely.
iron on backing
we will put heat seal glue on back. iron on is the most common option as it is easier than sew on.
velcro backing
There are velcro hoop side and loop side. Hoop side is sewed on the back of patches, and loop side is sewed on the surface of garment.
stick on backing
We will put adhesive glue on back of the patch. You can stick it on the clothes after rip off the layer of paper.
Special Options
There will be additional cost for special options like 3D embroidery, glow in the dark thread, metallic thread, with keychain or loop.
3D Embroidery
We will put a foam inside the embroidery to make the embroidery thread raised a lot from twill background.
Glow in the Dark Thread
The thread is white in the day time, and glow in the darkness.
Metallic thread
There are metallic gold and metallic silver thread. It is thicker and more rough.
With Keychain
Both sides will be embroidered, and top with keychain.
